The Beginning
Growing up in Jammu, our founders watched as supermarket shelves filled with packaged goods while the extraordinary produce of local farmers — Bhaderwah's legendary rajma, the clean oats grown in the valley — remained unknown to the rest of India. The question was simple: why is the best food in India the hardest to find?
The Farmers
We spent months travelling through the fields and valleys of Jammu — meeting the farmers who grew food with extraordinary care but received little in return. In Bhaderwah, we found rajma farmers who had been growing the same heritage variety for generations. In the valley floors, oat growers committed to clean farming. We promised them a fair partnership. That promise is the foundation of Bhoomi Tattva.
